Abstract
Continuity of Care (COC) is a continuous midwifery care provided throughout pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, the postpartum period, the neonatal period, and family planning. The purpose of this care was to provide comprehensive and continuous midwifery care to Mrs. I, 26 years old, G2P1A0, at Parakannyasag Community Health Center, Tasikmalaya City. The method used was a case study with a Continuity of Care approach. The results showed that the pregnancy progressed physiologically, with a gym ball intervention to assist fetal head descent. Labor progressed normally without complications, with deep breathing techniques provided to promote relaxation. The baby was born spontaneously in normal condition and received delayed cord clamping, Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD), vitamin K1, eye ointment, and Hepatitis B0 immunization. The postpartum and neonatal periods progressed physiologically. Postpartum sleep disturbances were managed through hypnotherapy and lavender aromatherapy. For family planning care, the mother chose the three-month injectable contraceptive method. Overall, the COC provided to Mrs. I proceeded physiologically, comprehensively, and continuously in accordance with midwifery care standards.
