Abstract
Latar Belakang: Peningkatan prevalensi Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM), khususnya Diabetes Melitus (DM), menjadi tantangan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Salah satu faktor risiko yang berperan terhadap peningkatan kadar gula darah adalah Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT). Wanita usia subur merupakan kelompok yang perlu mendapat perhatian karena status gizi dan kondisi metabolik sebelum kehamilan berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan reproduksi, kehamilan, serta luaran maternal dan neonatal. Data Cek Kesehatan Gratis (CKG) Tahun 2025 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Astanagarib menunjukkan masih ditemukannya wanita usia subur dengan IMT berlebih dan kadar gula darah di atas normal, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai hubungan kedua variabel tersebut. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain analitik observasional menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh wanita usia subur usia 15–49 tahun yang mengikuti kegiatan Cek Kesehatan Gratis (CKG) Tahun 2025 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Astanagarib Kota Cirebon. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling sehingga diperoleh 301 responden. Data diperoleh dari aplikasi ASIK dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05). Hasil: Sebagian besar responden memiliki IMT ≥23 kg/m² dan termasuk kategori kadar gula darah berisiko. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara Indeks Massa Tubuh dengan kadar gula darah pada wanita usia subur di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Astanagarib Kota Cirebon Tahun 2025 (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Indeks Massa Tubuh dengan kadar gula darah pada wanita usia subur di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Astanagarib Kota Cirebon Tahun 2025. . Kata kunci: Indeks Massa Tubuh, Kadar Gula Darah, Wanita Usia Subur ABSTRACT The Relationship between Body Mass Index and Blood Glucose Levels among Women of Reproductive Age in the Working Area of Astanagarib Primary Health Center, Cirebon City, 2025 Background: The increasing prevalence of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), particularly Diabetes Mellitus (DM), has become a major public health challenge in Indonesia. One of the risk factors associated with elevated blood glucose levels is Body Mass Index (BMI). Women of reproductive age are a population requiring special attention because their nutritional status and metabolic condition before pregnancy may affect reproductive health, pregnancy outcomes, as well as maternal and neonatal health. Data from the 2025 Free Health Check-up (CKG) program in the working area of Astanagarib Primary Health Center indicated that a number of women of reproductive age had excess BMI and elevated blood glucose levels. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the relationship between BMI and blood glucose levels among women of reproductive age. Methods: This study employed a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all women of reproductive age (15–49 years) who participated in the 2025 Free Health Check-up (CKG) program in the working area of Astanagarib Primary Health Center, Cirebon City. A total sampling technique was applied, resulting in 301 respondents. Secondary data were obtained from the ASIK application and analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). Results: The majority of respondents had a BMI of ≥23 kg/m² and were classified as having an at-risk blood glucose level. Bivariate analysis showed a statistically significant relationship between Body Mass Index and blood glucose levels among women of reproductive age in the working area of Astanagarib Primary Health Center, Cirebon City, in 2025 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between Body Mass Index and blood glucose levels among women of reproductive age in the working area of Astanagarib Primary Health Center, Cirebon City, in 2025. Women of Reproductive Age (istilah WHO untuk Wanita Usia Subur). Primary Health Center (terjemahan baku untuk Puskesmas). Cross-Sectional Study lebih lazim digunakan pada bagian Keywords dibanding hanya Cross Sectional. Versi di atas sudah sesuai dengan gaya penulisan abstrak skripsi maupun artikel ilmiah internasional.
