Abstract
KEMENTRIAN KESEHATAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN KEMENKES TASIKMALAYA PROGRAM STUDI DIPLOMA DIII KEPERAWATAN CIREBON Karya Tulis Ilmiah, Mei 2026 Implementasi Perawatan Luka Modern Dressing Pada Pasien Dengan Masalah Gangguan Integritas Jaringan Akibat Post Operasi Hernioraphy DiRuang Imam Bonjol RSUKabupaten Cirebon Sintya Bunga Nurfadiyah1, Agus Nurdin2, Komarudin3 ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Hernia inguinalis merupakan kondisi keluarnya organ intraabdomen melalui kelemahan dinding otot pada daerah inguinal. Penatalaksanaan hernia inguinalis umumnya dilakukan melalui tindakan operasi hernioraphy. Setelah tindakan pembedahan, pasien dapat mengalami gangguan integritas jaringan akibat adanya luka insisi operasi. Kondisi tersebut memerlukan perawatan luka yang tepat untuk membantu mempercepat proses penyembuhan serta mencegah terjadinya infeksi dan komplikasi lainnya. Salah satu metode perawatan luka yang dapat digunakan yaitu modern dressing. Tujuan: Menggambarkan implementasi perawatan luka modern dressing pada pasien post operasi hernioraphy dengan gangguan integritas jaringan di Ruang Imam Bonjol RSUD Arjawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan pada dua pasien post operasi hernioraphy yang mengalami gangguan integritas jaringan. Implementasi dilakukan selama 5 hari dengan tindakan observasi kondisi luka, perawatan luka menggunakan teknik aseptik, penggantian balutan modern dressing, pemantauan tanda infeksi, dan edukasi perawatan luka. Hasil: Hasil implementasi menunjukkan adanya perkembangan penyembuhan luka pada kedua pasien. Pada pasien 1 ukuran luka menurun dari 6 cm menjadi 5 cm, eksudat berkurang hingga tidak ada, tepi luka menyatu dengan baik, dan nyeri menurun dari skala 5 menjadi 2. Pada pasien 2 ukuran luka menurun dari 5 cm menjadi 4 cm, eksudat berkurang secara bertahap, luka tampak lebih kering, dan nyeri menurun dari skala 5 menjadi 2. Proses penyembuhan luka pada pasien 1 berlangsung lebih cepat dibandingkan pasien 2 yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia. Kesimpulan: Implementasi perawatan luka modern dressing pada pasien post operasi hernioraphy dengan gangguan integritas jaringan menunjukkan hasil yang baik ditandai dengan penurunan ukuran luka, berkurangnya eksudat dan nyeri, tidak adanya tanda infeksi, serta kondisi luka yang semakin membaik. Saran: Perawatan luka modern dressing diharapkan dapat diterapkan secara optimal oleh perawat untuk membantu mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka post operasi hernioraphy. Management of inguinal hernias is generally carried out through herniorrhaphy surgery. After surgery, patients may experience impaired tissue integrity due to the surgical incision. This condition requires proper wound care to help speed up the healing process and prevent infection and other complications. One method of wound care that can be used is modern dressing. Objective: To describe the implementation of modern wound dressing care for post-herniorrhoea surgery patients with impaired tissue integrity in the Imam Bonjol Room, Arjawinangun Regional Hospital, Cirebon Regency. Method: This research uses a case study method with a nursing care approach to two post-herniorrhaphy patients who experienced tissue integrity disorders. Implementation was carried out for 5 days with observation of wound conditions, wound care using aseptic techniques, changing modern dressings, monitoring signs of infection, and education on wound care. Results: The results of implementation showed progress in wound healing in both patients. In patient 1 the size of the wound decreased from 6 cm to 5 cm, the exudate decreased to none, the edges of the wound were well fused, and the pain decreased from a scale of 5 to 2. In patient 2 the size of the wound decreased from 5 cm to 4 cm, the exudate decreased gradually, the wound looked drier, and the pain decreased from a scale of 5 to 2. The wound healing process in patient 1 was faster than in patient 2 which was influenced by age. Conclusion: The implementation of modern wound dressing care in post-herniorrhoea surgery patients with impaired tissue integrity shows good results, characterized by a decrease in wound size, reduced exudate and pain, no signs of infection, and increasingly improved wound conditions. Suggestion: It is hoped that modern wound care dressings can be applied optimally by nurses to help speed up the wound healing process after herniorrhoea surgery.
