Abstract
INTISARI Latar Belakang: Diabetes Melitus Gestasional (DMG) adalah gangguan toleransi glukosa yang teridentifikasi pertama kali pada saat kehamilan dan menjadi salah satu permasalahan kesehatan yang terus meningkat secara global. Media audiovisual dan poster dinilai dapat menjadi pilihan terbaik sebagai media edukasi karena dapat disesuaikan dengan karakteristik sasaran seperti tingkat pendidikan, usia, dan preferensi belajar akan membantu meningkatkan perhatian, pemahaman, serta retensi informasi. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan penggunaan media edukasi audiovisual dan poster terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil tentang pencegahan diabetes melitus gestasional. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimen Two Group Pretest-Posttest Controled. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil trimester I-III sebanyak 140 responden yang akan dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok. pengambilan besaran sampel pada tiap kelompok menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat, wilcoxon dan mann-whitney untuk menganalisis perbedaan pengaruh masing-masing media terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil. Hasil: Hasil uji wilcoxon skor pengetahuan dan sikap pada masing-masing kelompok menunjukkan nilai Pvalue 0.000 (p <0,05). dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa pemberian media edukasi audiovisual dan poster berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap responden. Pada uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan hasil pada variabel pengetahuan didapatkan nilai pvalue sebesar 0,901 (p> 0.05). sementara itu, pada variabel sikap diperoleh nilai pvalue sebesar 0,972 (p >0.05) sehingga dapat diketahui tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat pengetahuan maupun sikap antara kelompok yang diberikan media edukasi audiovisual maupun poster Kesimpulan : dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua media memiliki efektivitas yang relatif sama dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap responden. Hal ini juga didukung dengan hasil analisis univariat dan wilcoxon pada masing-masing variabel yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap responden sebelum dan setelah diberikan intervensi. Kata Kunci : Audiovisual, Edukasi, Pengetauan, Poster, Sikap ABSTRACT Introduction: Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (DMG) is a glucose tolerance disorder that was first identified during pregnancy and is one of the health problems that continues to increase globally. Audiovisual media and posters are considered to be the best choice as educational media because they can be adjusted to target characteristics such as education level, age, and learning preferences will help increase attention, understanding, and information retention. The aims of this study is to find out the difference in the use of audiovisual and poster educational media on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about the prevention of gestational diabetes mellitus Methods: This study uses a Quasi Experiment Two Group Pretest-Posttest Controlled design. The sample in this study is 140 respondents in the first untill third trimester pregnant women. Sample size was taken in each group using the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used univariate, wilcoxon and mann-whitney analysis to analyze the differences in the influence of each media on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women. Results: The results of the wilcoxon test of knowledge and attitude scores in each group showed a Pvalue 0.000 (p <0.05). This, it can be seen that the provision of audiovisual educational media and posters has a significant effect on improving respondents' knowledge and attitudes. In the Mann-Whitney test, the results on the knowledge variable were obtained with a pvalue 0.901 (p> 0.05). Meanwhile, in the attitude variable, a pvalue 0.972 (p >0.05), so that it can be seen that there was no significant difference in the level of knowledge and attitude between the groups provided by audiovisual and poster educational media Discussion: both media have relatively equal effectiveness in improving respondents' knowledge and attitudes. This is also supported by the results of univariate and wilcoxon analysis on each variable which shows an increase in respondents' knowledge and attitudes before and after the intervention is given.
