Abstract
ABSTRAK Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga terhadap Pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada Ibu Menyusui di UPTD Puskesmas Rancakalong Kabupaten Sumedang "Yulistiani Alamsyah" Pemberian Air Susu Ibu (ASI) eksklusif merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan bayi. Meskipun cakupan ASI eksklusif di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan, pencapaiannya masih belum memenuhi target nasional. Salah satu faktor yang diduga memengaruhi keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah dukungan keluarga, baik dalam bentuk dukungan emosional, informasional, instrumental, maupun penghargaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Rancakalong Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik observasional dengan pendekatan **cross-sectional**. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu menyusui yang memiliki bayi usia 6 bulan di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Rancakalong sebanyak 27 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan **total sampling** sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis secara univariat serta bivariat. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji **Fisher's Exact Test** dengan tingkat kemaknaan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki dukungan keluarga yang baik, yaitu sebanyak 15 orang (55,6%), sedangkan 12 orang (44,4%) memiliki dukungan keluarga kurang. Sebanyak 23 responden (85,2%) memberikan ASI eksklusif, sedangkan 4 responden (14,8%) tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan nilai **p = 0,028** (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Ibu yang memperoleh dukungan keluarga yang baik cenderung lebih berhasil memberikan ASI eksklusif dibandingkan ibu yang memperoleh dukungan keluarga kurang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Rancakalong Kabupaten Sumedang. Tenaga kesehatan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan upaya promosi kesehatan dengan melibatkan suami dan anggota keluarga dalam edukasi mengenai pentingnya dukungan terhadap ibu menyusui guna meningkatkan keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. **Kata Kunci:** dukungan keluarga, ASI eksklusif, ibu menyusui, cross-sectional, Fisher's Exact Test. **ABSTRACT** **The Relationship between Family Support and Exclusive Breastfeeding among Breastfeeding Mothers at UPTD Rancakalong Public Health Center, Sumedang Regency** **Yulistiani Alamsyah** Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the most effective strategies for improving infant health and reducing infant morbidity and mortality. Although the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia has gradually increased, it has not yet reached the national target. Family support is considered one of the important factors influencing the success of exclusive breastfeeding. This study aimed to determine the relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding among breastfeeding mothers in the working area of UPTD Rancakalong Public Health Center, Sumedang Regency. This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all breastfeeding mothers with infants aged six months in the working area of UPTD Rancakalong Public Health Center. A total of 27 respondents were recruited using the total sampling technique. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed through univariate and bivariate analyses. The bivariate analysis was conducted using Fisher's Exact Test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that 15 respondents (55.6%) had good family support, while 12 respondents (44.4%) had poor family support. Most respondents (85.2%) practiced exclusive breastfeeding, whereas 14.8% did not. The bivariate analysis revealed a statistically significant relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.028; p < 0.05). Mothers who received good family support were more likely to practice exclusive breastfeeding than those with inadequate family support. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding among breastfeeding mothers in the working area of UPTD Rancakalong Public Health Center, Sumedang Regency. Health professionals are encouraged to involve husbands and other family members in breastfeeding education and counseling programs to strengthen family support and improve the success of exclusive breastfeeding. **Keywords:** family support, exclusive breastfeeding, breastfeeding mothers, cross-sectional study, Fisher's Exact Test.
