Abstract
Latar Belakang: Periode postpartum merupakan masa pemulihan ibu setelah melahirkan. Pada masa ini, ibu mengalami berbagai perubahan fisik dan psikologis. Salah satu masalah yang sering terjadi adalah ruptur perineum akibat robekan spontan atau episiotomi, yang dapat menimbulkan nyeri, kemerahan, edema, serta meningkatkan risiko infeksi. Terapi rebusan daun sirih merah dapat digunakan sebagai tindakan nonfarmakologis karena memiliki sifat antiseptik, antiinflamasi, dan antibakteri sehingga membantu mempercepat penyembuhan luka perineum. Tujuan: Setelah melakukan studi kasus, penulis mampu melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan pada ibu postpartum dengan luka perineum melalui tindakan terapi rebusan daun sirih merah di RSUD Arjawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode: Desain penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada dua klien ibu postpartum dengan luka perineum derajat II. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, serta pengukuran skala nyeri menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) dan skala REEDA. Hasil: Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan penurunan skala nyeri dan perbaikan kondisi luka perineum setelah dilakukan terapi rebusan daun sirih merah. Pada klien 1 skala nyeri menurun dari 5 menjadi 2, sedangkan pada klien 2 menurun dari 6 menjadi 0. Skala REEDA juga menunjukkan perbaikan hingga mencapai skor 0 pada klien 1 dan 1 pada klien 2 akhir evaluasi. Kesimpulan: Terapi rebusan daun sirih merah efektif dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka perineum dan menurunkan skala nyeri pada ibu postpartum. Background: The postpartum period is a period of recovery for mothers after giving birth. During this period, mothers experience various physical and psychological changes. One of the problems that often occurs is perineal rupture due to spontaneous tears or episiotomy, which can cause pain, redness, edema, and increase the risk of infection. Red betel leaf decoction therapy can be used as a non-pharmacological measure because it has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties, thus helping to accelerate the healing of perineal wounds. Objective: After conducting a case study, the author was able to carry out nursing care for postpartum mothers with perineal wounds through red betel leaf decoction therapy at Arjawinangun Regional Hospital, Cirebon Regency. Method: Qualitative research design with a case study approach on two postpartum mothers with second-degree perineal wounds. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation studies, and pain scale measurements using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and the REEDA scale. Results: The measurement results showed a decrease in pain scale and improvement in the condition of perineal wounds after red betel leaf decoction therapy. In client 1, the pain scale decreased from 5 to 2, while in client 2 it decreased from 6 to 0. The REEDA scale also showed improvement, reaching a score of 0 in client 1 and 1 in client 2 at the end of the evaluation. Conclusion: Red betel leaf decoction therapy is effective in accelerating the healing of perineal wounds and reducing the pain scale in postpartum mothers.
