Abstract

EVALUATION OF THE SUPPLEMENTARY FEEDING PROGRAM (PMT) FOR PREGNANT WOMEN WITH CHRONIC ENERGY EFICIENCY (CED) ON INFANT BIRTH WEIGHT IN CINTANAGARA VILLAGE GARUT REGENCY IN 2026 Inda Windasah Politeknik Kesehatan Tasikmalaya Program Studi Sarjana Terapan Kebidanan Email: indawindasah31@gmail.com ABSTRACT Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a nutritional problem that can increase the risk of low birth weight (LBW) infants. One of the prevention efforts is through the Supplementary Feeding Program (PMT). This study aimed to describe the implementation of the PMT program for pregnant women with CED on infant birth weight in Cintanagara Village in 2026. This study used a descriptive quantitative design with a retrospective cohort approach. The sample consisted of 32 pregnant women with CED who received PMT. Data were obtained from Maternal and Child Health books, maternal and infant cohort records, and PMT program reports. The results showed that most pregnant women with CED received PMT according to the program and delivered babies with normal birth weight, although there were still obstacles related to compliance in consuming PMT and program documentation. The implementation of the PMT program for pregnant women with CED in Cintanagara Village was fairly good, and most infants were born with normal birth weight.
