Abstract
ABSTRACT Silvi Darayanti Putri. Design of animated video-based educational media on fast food cosumption and Nutritional Status for SMA Muhammadiyah Singaparna. Under supervision of ANDRI GUSTIADI Nutritional problems often faced by adolescents in Indonesia are nutritional imbalances, both overnutrition and undernutrition, which can be influenced by fast food consumption patterns. The habit of consuming fast food that is high in energy, fat, sugar, and salt can cause an imbalance in nutritional intake in the body. Based on the results of an initial preliminary study at Muhammadiyah Singaparna High School, many students still tend to consume fast food and do not understand its impact on health. Therefore, educational media is needed to improve adolescent nutritional knowledge regarding fast food consumption and its nutritional status. This study aims to design animated video-based educational media about fast food consumption and nutritional status for Muhammadiyah Singaparna High School students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method through three stages: Define (definition) is carried out by gathering information through interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, Design (design) includes a feasibility test by three experts, namely material experts, media experts, language experts, and Development (development) user trial assessments carried out by students in grades X-XII. This research was conducted in April 2026 at Muhammadiyah Singaparna High School. The research results show that the animated video-based educational media received a "Very Suitable" rating from three experts in the feasibility test. The results of the trial by 12 students indicated that the animated video media was rated "Very Suitable." Therefore, this animated video is suitable for use as an educational medium regarding fast food consumption and nutritional status. Keywords: Animation, Fast Food, Nutritional Status
