Abstract
Pangan jajanan yang tidak higienis dan memiliki resiko terkontaminasi sering dijumpai di masyarakat. Peraturan Kementerian Kesehatan No.33 Tahun 2012 menyatakan bahwa masyarakat perlu dilindungi dari penggunaan bahan tambahan pangan yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan kesehatan. Pangan jajanan memberikan kontribusi masing-masing sebesar 22,9% dan 15,9% terhadap keseluruhan asupan energi dan protein anak sekolah dasar (Sari dan Rachmawati, 2020). Sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi paparan jajanan yang tidak sehat perlu dilakukan promosi kesehatan mengenai jajanan yang aman dan sehat untuk anak-anak. Peningakatan pengetahuan anak dapat menggunakan metode yang menarik, salah satunya adalah metode snowball throwing. Penelitian Pre-Eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test and post-test. Penelitian dilakukan pada Januari 2025 di SD Negeri 1 Panguragan Kulon. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV, V dan VI sejumlah 46 siswa, sampel adalah total populasi. Data dikumpulkan dengan pengisian kuesioner 15 pertanyaan terkait jajanan sehat. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 15,2% dari rata-rata nilai pre-test (65,2%) menjadi rata-rata nilai post-test (80,4%). Edukasi jajanan sehat dengan menggunakan metode snowball throwing efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa sekolah dasar tentang jajanan sehat. Unhygienic snack foods that are at risk of contamination are often found in the community. The Ministry of Health Regulation No. 33 of 2012 states that the public needs to be protected from the use of food additives that do not meet health requirements. Snack foods contribute 22.9% and 15.9% to the overall energy and protein intake of elementary school children (Sari and Rachmawati, 2020). As an effort to reduce exposure to unhealthy snacks, health promotion about safe and healthy snacks for children needs to be conducted. Increasing children's knowledge can use engaging methods, one of which is the snowball throwing method. Pre-Experimental research with a one group pre-test and post-test design. The research was conducted in January 2025 at State Elementary School 1 Panguragan Kulon. The research population consisted of 46 students from grades IV, V, and VI, with the sample being the total population. Data were collected through a 15-question questionnaire related to healthy snacks. Data analysis used descriptive analysis.The results showed an increase in knowledge of 15.2% from an average pre-test score of 65.2% to an average post-test score of 80.4%. Education on healthy snacks using the snowball throwing method effectively increased elementary school students' knowledge about healthy snacks.
