Abstract
Adolescents are one of the nutritionally vulnerable groups. In addition, adolescents need adequate food not only in terms of quantity but also in terms of quality. My Plate Contentsis a guide that shows food and beverage servings for each meal. This study aims to determine the suitability of meal portions based on My Plate Contentsand the nutritional status of 8th grade students of SMPN 9 Tasikmalaya. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The sample of this study was 30 students. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through interviews on the suitability of meal portions based on My Plate Contents Contents and anthropometric nutritional status measurements. The results showed that the food portions of all respondents were not in accordance with the contents of my plate. In 30 students, 20 respondents (67%) had good nutritional status. It is necessary to expand counseling about My Plate ContentsContent so that knowledge and application of eating patterns in accordance with the principles of balanced nutrition can increase.
