Abstract

Dengue Haemorraghic Fever (DHF) merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes Aegypti, masalah utama yang biasanya terjadi pada klien dengan DHF yaitu hipertermi. Hipertermi adalah keadaan dimana suhu tubuh meningkat diatas rentang normal tubuh. Masalah hipertermi dapat diatasi dengan melakukan beberapa tindakan keperawatan, salah satu tindakan nonfarmakologis yang dapat dilakukan yaitu kompres hangat pada pembuluh darah supervisial yang berada di lipatan-lipatan tubuh. Tujuan dari penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah untuk melakukan studi kasus asuhan keperawatan pada balita (0-5 tahun) dengan Dengue Haemorraghic Fever (DHF) yang dilakukan tindakan water tepid sponge. Jenis desain dari penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi masalah keperawatan dan teknik penyelesaian masalah klien yang akan dilaksanakan selama 5 hari mulai tanggal 12 April – 17 April 2023. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah kelompok intervensi mengalami penurunan suhu tubuh setelah dilakukan intervensi water tepid sponge dengan penurunan rata-rata 0,5-0,53°C. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini penerapan water tepid sponge bermanfaat untuk penurunan suhu tubuh pada balita sebagai terapi komplementer dalam terapi medis. Saran untuk selanjutnya yaitu memberikan asuhan keperawatan secara profesional dan komprehensif dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan agar lebih kreatif dan inovatif tentang penatalaksanaan hipertermi pada balita. Dengue Haemorraghic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, the main problem that usually occurs in clients with DHF is hyperthermia. Hyperthermia is a condition where the body temperature rises above the body's normal range. The problem of hyperthermia can be overcome by carrying out several nursing actions, one of the non-pharmacological actions that can be carried out is warm compresses on the superficial blood vessels in the folds of the body. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to conduct a case study of nursing care in toddlers (0-5 years) with Dengue Haemorraghic Fever (DHF) which is treated with a water tepid sponge. This type of design for writing scientific papers is descriptive with a case study approach to explore nursing problems and client problem solving techniques which will be carried out for 5 days from April 12 to April 17 2023. The results obtained were that the intervention group experienced a decrease in body temperature after the intervention water tepid sponge with an average decrease of 0.5-0.53°C. The conclusion in this study is that the application of a water tepid sponge is useful for reducing body temperature in toddlers as a complementary therapy in medical therapy. Suggestions for the next is to provide nursing care in a professional and comprehensive manner by increasing knowledge to be more creative and innovative about the management of hyperthermia in toddlers.
