Abstract
Elementary school children are one of the groups that are prone to nutritional problems. The lack of frequency of consumption of vegetables and fruit also plays a role in causing nutritional problems in elementary school children. One of the factors that affect nutritional status is physical activity. Someone who tends to eat foods rich in fat and does not do balanced physical activity will experience obesity. This research was conducted to describe the consumption of fruit and vegetables, physical activity, and nutritional status in fifth-grade children at SDN 3 Sukajadi, Cisayong District, Tasikmalaya Regency. This type of research was descriptive. The population in this study was made up of all fifth graders at SDN 3 Sukajadi. Determination of the sample in this study using a simple random sampling method and obtained a sample of 30 people. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews using the SQ FFQ and PAL questionnaire forms, measuring height and weight. The results showed that vegetable consumption was still not as recommended at 97% and fruit consumption at 47%. Very light physical activity 53%, light activity 44% and moderate activity 3%, as well as nutritional status of IMT/U with less nutrition 14%, more nutritional status 3% and obesity 3%. It is recommended for parents get used to equipping their children with a balanced nutritional menu and pay attention to the intake of vegetables and fruit at each meal with sufficient quantities and various types of variants.
