Abstract

Backround: The standard operating procedure for the filing unit at the medical record installation has not been fully implemented, indicated by the tracer not being used in the outpatient medical record. This does not meet one of the indicators of work effectiveness, namely working in accordance with standard operating procedures so that it can lead to a lack of work effectiveness. The lack of work effectiveness can affect the work productivity of officers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the characteristics of officers and work effectiveness with the work productivity of medical record officers. Methods: This study uses quantitative analysis with a cross sectional design. The sample in this study used a sample population, namely the number of medical record officers, namely 22 officers. Data collection was carried out directly using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate, with chi-square test. Result: Medical record officers are male (68.2%), young (54.5%), medical record education background (54.5%), new tenure (50%). The variable of work effectiveness is significantly related to work productivity, while the variables of gender, age, years of service, and education are not significantly related to work productivity.
