Abstract

Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) merupakan salah satu langkah penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan pemberian ASI sejak awal kelahiran, serta membantu bayi mendapatkan kolostrum sebagai sumber kekebalan pertama. Namun, pada kenyataannya masih ada ibu hamil yang belum memahami pentingnya IMD dan pemberian kolostrum. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya edukasi yang tepat agar informasi tersebut dapat dipahami dengan baik oleh ibu hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai IMD setelah diberikan edukasi menggunakan media lembar balik, serta melihat perencanaan ibu dalam pemberian kolostrum di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Plumbon tahun 2025. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling tertentu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis secara univariat. Hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diberikan edukasi, sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup yaitu sebesar 62,5%. Setelah diberikan edukasi, terjadi peningkatan dimana sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik yaitu sebesar 93,8%. Selain itu, seluruh responden menunjukkan perencanaan yang baik dalam pemberian kolostrum yaitu sebesar 100%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa, pemberian edukasi menggunakan media lembar balik cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil terkait IMD dan pemberian kolostrum. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan tersebut, diharapkan ibu hamil dapat menerapkan IMD dan memberikan kolostrum dengan baik saat persalinan maupun setelah bayi lahir. Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) is a crucial step in supporting successful breastfeeding from birth and helping babies receive colostrum, their first source of immunity. However, many pregnant women still don't understand the importance of IMD and colostrum. Therefore, appropriate educational efforts are needed to ensure pregnant women understand this information. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women regarding early breastfeeding initiation (IMD) after being provided with education using flipchart media, as well as to examine mothers' planning for colostrum provision in the Plumbon Community Health Center work area in 2025. The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive design. The sample in this study were pregnant women selected using a specific sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using pre-test and post-test questionnaires, then analyzed univariately. The research results showed that before the education, the majority of respondents had a fair level of knowledge, at 62.5%. After the education, this level increased, with the majority having a good level of knowledge, at 93.8%. Furthermore, all respondents demonstrated good planning for colostrum administration, at 100%. These results conclude that providing education using flipcharts is quite effective in increasing pregnant women's knowledge regarding early breastfeeding (IMD) and colostrum administration. With this increased knowledge, it is hoped that pregnant women will be able to effectively implement early breastfeeding and provide colostrum during and after delivery.
