Abstract

POLTEKKES KEMENKES TASIKMALAYA PROGRAM STUDI DIII KEPERAWATAN CIREBON Karya Tulis Ilmiah, 28 Mei 2025 Implementasi Terapi Cermin Pada Ny. T Dan Ny. D Dengan Gangguan Mobilitas Fisik Akibat Stroke Non Hemoragik Di Ruang Cipto Mangun Kusumo RSUD Arjawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon Siti Hanifah1, Agus Nurdin, S.Kp, M.Kep2, H. Komarudin, S.Kp, M.Kep3 ABSTRAK Stroke non hemoragik merupakan salah satu jenis stroke iskemik yang disebabkan oleh sumbatan aliran darah menuju otak, sehingga mengakibatkan gangguan fungsi saraf seperti kelemahan anggota gerak dan penurunan mobilitas fisik. Salah satu terapi rehabilitasi yang efektif dan nonfarmakologis adalah terapi cermin. Terapi ini memanfaatkan ilusi visual melalui pantulan anggota tubuh yang sehat untuk merangsang pergerakan anggota tubuh yang terkena paresis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus pada dua pasien wanita berusia 54 dan 48 tahun yang mengalami gangguan mobilitas fisik akibat stroke non hemoragik dan dirawat di RSUD Arjawinangun, Kabupaten Cirebon. Intervensi terapi cermin dilakukan selama lima hari dengan durasi 15–20 menit per sesi. Pengukuran kekuatan otot dilakukan menggunakan Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) skala 0–5. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan otot pada pasien pertama meningkat dari skala 2 menjadi 5, sedangkan pada pasien kedua meningkat dari skala 1 menjadi 3. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terapi cermin dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot dan fungsi motorik pada pasien stroke non hemoragik. Namun, efektivitas terapi juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan dan tingkat konsentrasi pasien selama pelaksanaan terapi. Kesimpulannya, terapi cermin terbukti menjadi intervensi yang efektif dan dapat diterapkan sebagai tindakan keperawatan mandiri untuk meningkatkan mobilitas fisik pasien stroke non hemoragik, serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien secara keseluruhan. Komarudin, S.Kp, M.Kep3 ABSTRACT Non-hemorrhagic stroke is a type of ischemic stroke caused by a blockage of blood flow to the brain, resulting in neurological dysfunction such as limb weakness and decreased physical mobility. One effective and non-pharmacological rehabilitation method is mirror therapy, which uses visual illusion through reflection of the healthy limb to stimulate movement in the affected limb.This research employed a qualitative case study approach involving two female patients aged 54 and 48 years, respectively, who experienced impaired physical mobility due to non-hemorrhagic stroke and were treated at RSUD Arjawinangun, Cirebon Regency. Mirror therapy intervention was administered for five consecutive days, with each session lasting 15–20 minutes. Muscle strength was assessed using the Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) scale ranging from 0 to 5.Results showed an improvement in muscle strength from 2 to 5 in the first patient and from 1 to 3 in the second. These findings indicate that mirror therapy can enhance muscle strength and motor function in patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke. However, the effectiveness of the therapy also depends on environmental factors and the patient’s level of concentration during the intervention.In conclusion, mirror therapy proves to be an effective nursing intervention that can be independently applied to improve physical mobility in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients and enhance their overall quality of life.
