Abstract
In Indonesia, based on the results of the Basic Health Research in 2019, data shows that 1.5% Indonesians have CAD. In West Java, the prevalence of heart disease was above the national average in 2018 at 1.6%. According to the Tasikmalaya City Health Profile in 2018, heart disease in Tasikmalaya ranked third out of the seven most common non-communicable diseases with 1.1% CAD. Excessive intake of saturated fat increases the risk of atherosclerosis which triggers CAD. Fiber intake can reduce total cholesterol levels and increase blood HDL levels. Obesity is a predisposing factor for CAD. Fiber can reduce total cholesterol levels and increase blood HDL levels. This study aims to determine the intake of saturated fat, fiber and nutritional status in CAD patients at Jasa Kartini Hospital. The type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were CAD patients at Jasa Kartini Hospital, totaling 30 respondents. Data collection was done by consecutive sampling method. Primary data collection was carried out by means of direct interviews using food recall and FFQ forms and direct measurement using a height weight scale. Most of the respondents were male by 63.33% in the age range of 50-80 years by 93.34% the education level was dominated by elementary school by 50% and most of them were not working 53.3%. Excess saturated fat intake was 33.33%, good 53.33% and less 13.34%, while fiber intake was 90% less and 10% good, for nutritional status 53.33% normal, 30% obese, 13.34% overweight and 3.33% less.
