Abstract
RELATIONSHIP OF AGE, PARITY, BODY WEIGHT OF BABIES BORN WITH PERINEUM RUPTURE AT UPTD CIBEUREUM HEALTH CENTER, TASIKMALAYA CITY Bacground :Background Perineal tears generally occur in the midline and usually become extensive if the fetal head is born too quickly, the angle of the pubic arch is smaller than usual so that the fetal head is forced to be born further back than usual, the fetal head passes through the lower pelvic inlet at a larger size. , rather than circumferential suboccipoto bregmantika or vaginal birth. Perineal rupture is the tearing of the birth canal, especially the perineal muscles, during the birth process. Objective: To determine the relationship between age, parity, birth weight of the baby and perineal ruptur Design: This research design uses a cross-sectional analytical survey to study the dynamics of the correlation between risk factors and effects, using an observational approach or collecting data simultaneously. Results: The research results showed that there was no significant relationship between age, parity, birth weight of the baby and perineal rupture. Conclusion: The causes of perineal rupture are parity, baby's weight, delivery not as it should be, stiff perineum, episiotomy, perineal rupture occurs in almost all first deliveries and is not uncommon in subsequent deliveries. Laceration of the birth canal is the second cause, one of which is tearing of the birth canal which can occur in almost every vaginal birth Keywords: Age, parity, birth weight, perineal ruptur
