Abstract
Anemia is a condition where the number of red blood cells is less than normal and the problem is most often found in teenage girls. The prevalence of anemia in adolescent girls in Indonesia is 32%. This study aims to determine the description of compliance with the consumption of blood supplement tablets (TTD) and iron intake of adolescent girls at MA Al-amin, Tasikmalaya city. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in this study was 101 people. The number of samples in the study was 30 people. Sample determination was carried out using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by interviews regarding the TTD consumption compliance questionnaire, 24-hour food recall form and Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ) form. The analysis of this research data is descriptive analysis. The results of this research found that the sample was mostly teenage girls, namely 18 people aged 16 years (60%), 6 people aged 17 years (20%) and 6 people aged 18 years (20%). The sample who did not comply with TTD consumption was 14 people (47%), 11 people (36%) were less compliant and 5 people (17%) were compliant with TTD consumption. Most of the samples whose iron intake based on 24-hour food recall was insufficient, namely 19 people (63%), and 11 people (37%) had sufficient iron intake. Most of the samples whose iron intake based on the SQ-FFQ was sufficient were 22 people (73%) and 8 people (27%) had insufficient iron intake. The conclusion of this study is that most of the respondents' adherence to TTD consumption was non-compliant with TTD consumption, most of the intake of iron based on 24-hour food recall was insufficient and intake based on SQ-FFQ was sufficient.
