Abstract

Latar Belakang: Anemia merupakan kejadian Dimana kadar Hemoglobin pada darah ibu hamil <11gr/dl. Angka kematian Ibu (AKI) di Jawa Barat didominasi oleh kejadian anemia sebanyak 20%. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian buah naga merah terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) pada ibu hamil. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Quasi Eksperimen dengan menggunakan pret test post test control group design pada 36 ibu hamil yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok dengan teknik purposive sample. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembar observasi dan alat cek Hb portable dan dianalisis uji independent sample T test menggunakan SPSS. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa pada kelompok intervensi memiliki rata – rata peningkatan kadar hb sebesar 0,6, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol memiliki rata – rata peningkatan kadar hb sebesar 0,16. Hasil uji Independent Sample T Test didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kadar HB ibu hamil pada kelompok yang diberikan buah naga merah dengan ibu hamil pada kelompok yang tidak diberikan buah naga merah. Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil pada kelompok yang diberikan buah naga merah dengan ibu hamil pada kelompok yang tidak diberikan buah naga merah. Kata Kunci: Ibu hamil, Buah Naga Merah, Hemoglobin, MMS. Background: Anemia is a condition in which the hemoglobin level in the blood of pregnant women is <11 g/dL. Anemia accounts for 20% of maternal mortality cases in West Java. This study aims to determine the effect of red dragon fruit consumption on increasing hemoglobin (Hb) levels in pregnant women. Research Method: This study employed a quasi-experimental approach using a pretest-posttest control group design involving 36 pregnant women divided into two groups via purposive sampling. Data were collected using observation sheets and a portable Hb meter and analyzed using an independent samples t-test with SPSS. Results: Based on the analysis, it was found that the intervention group had an average increase in Hb levels of 0.6, while the control group had an average increase of 0.16. The independent-samples t-test yielded a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. This means there is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels between pregnant women in the group given red dragon fruit and those in the group not given red dragon fruit. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels between pregnant women in the group given red dragon fruit and those in the group not given red dragon fruit.
