Abstract
Triple elimination examination is an effort to prevent the transmission of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B from mother to baby during pregnancy. Low levels of knowledge and attitudes among pregnant women regarding triple elimination examination may affect the coverage of examinations among pregnant women. The utilization of web-based digital media as a health education medium is expected to improve pregnant women’s knowledge and attitudes toward the importance of triple elimination examination. This study aimed to determine the effect of digital media utilization on pregnant women’s knowledge and attitudes toward triple elimination examination. This study used a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental design using a one group pretest-posttest design approach. The population in this study consisted of all pregnant women who attended antenatal care visits in the working area of Dayeuhkolot Public Health Center, Bandung Regency, totaling 132 people. The sample consisted of 57 pregnant women who had not undergone triple elimination examination selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection used knowledge and attitude questionnaires and were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that before the intervention, respondents with a "good" knowledge category increased from 75.4% to 100% after the intervention. Pregnant women with a positive attitude before the intervention stood at 56.1% and escalated to 100% after the intervention. The Wilcoxon test results yielded a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) for both knowledge and attitude variables. Therefore, there is a significant influence of digital media utilization on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding triple elimination screening in the work area of Dayeuhkolot Public Health Center, Bandung Regency in 2026. Digital media utilization significantly improves the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women toward triple elimination screening.
