Abstract
The lack of understanding among students at SDN 2 Pameungpeuk regarding the “Isi Piringku” guidelines has led to imbalances in their daily food intake, highlighting the need for interactive innovations in nutrition education. This study aims to design and develop a prototype of an educational “Isi Piringku”-based Snakes and Ladders game for elementary school-aged children. This study was conducted at SDN 2 Pameungpeuk from April through May 2026 using a Research and Development (R&D) approach within the ADDIE model framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which in this study was limited to the development phase. During the analysis phase, media needs were identified through in-depth interviews with students. Next, the design phase involved feasibility validation by three multidisciplinary experts (content, media, and language). In the development phase, a small-scale user test was conducted with 10 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The feasibility test yielded very positive results: the subject matter expert gave a score of 92%, the media expert scored it at 100%, and the language expert scored it at 98%, all of which fell within the “Highly Feasible” criteria. Based on these results, it can be concluded that this “Isi Piringku” snakes-and-ladders prototype is valid and highly suitable for implementation as an educational tool for children’s nutritional needs.
