Abstract
Proses mengeluarkan janin melalui pembedahan perut dikenal sebagai persalinan sectio caesarea (SC). Setelah menjalani prosedur SC dapat timbul sejumlah masalah, salah satunya adalah kesulitan dalam menyusui yang berdampak pada terganggunya rangsangan produksi ASI. Pemberian perawatan payudara dengan pijat whoolwich dan rolling massage dapat membantu merangsang hormon prolaktin dan oksitosin yang berperan penting dalam memperlancar produksi ASI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran penerapan kombinasi terapi pijat whoolwich dan rolling massage terhadap meningkatkan produksi ASI pada ibu post partum dengan sectio caesarea di RSUD Al-Ihsan. Metode studi khasus dilakukan pada 2 pasien yang memiliki riwayat post partum SC dan ketidaklancaran pengeluaran ASI. kedua pasien diberikan asuhan keperawatan dengan mengimplementasikan terapi kombinasi pijat whoolwich dan rolling massage untuk melancarkan ASI. Tindakan ini dilaksanakan selama 3 hari dalam sehari 2 kali dimulai dari tanggal 03-05 September 2024. Hasil akhir setelah diberikan tindakan pijat whoolwich dan rolling massage kedua pasien mengalami perubahan peningkatan kelancaran ASI. Skor sebelum diberikan tindakan pasien I dengan score 1 dan pasien II dengan score 0 sedangkan skor setelah dilakukan pijat whoolwich dan rolling massage mengalami peningkatan pada hari ketiga yaitu pasien I dengan score 3 sedangkan pasien II dengan score 6. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tindakan pijat whoolwich dan rolling massage dapat memengaruhi terhadap peningkatan produksi ASI pada ibu post partum dengan sectio caesarea. Saran Diharapkan pihak rumah sakit dapat memberikan pelayanan asuhan keperawatan dengan menyertakan edukasi mengenai penatalaksanaan pijat whoolwich dan rolling massage untuk mendukung kelancaran ASI. Kata kunci: ASI Ekslusif, pijat whoolwich, post partum, rolling massage dan sectio caesarea. The process of removing a fetus through abdominal surgery is known as a cesarean section (CS) delivery. After undergoing a CS procedure, a number of problems can arise, one of which is difficulty in breastfeeding which has an impact on disrupting the stimulation of breast milk production. Providing breast care with whoolwich massage and rolling massage can help stimulate the hormones prolactin and oxytocin which play an important role in facilitating breast milk production. This study aims to provide an overview of the application of a combination of whoolwich massage therapy and rolling massage to increase breast milk production in postpartum mothers with cesarean section at Al-Ihsan Hospital. The case study method was carried out on 2 patients who had a history of postpartum CS and irregular breast milk production. both patients were given nursing care by implementing a combination of whoolwich massage therapy and rolling massage to facilitate breast milk. This action was carried out for 3 days in a day 2 times starting from September 03-05, 2024. The final result after being given whoolwich massage and rolling massage, both patients experienced changes in increasing the smoothness of breast milk. The score before the action was given to patient I with a score of 1 and patient II with a score of 0 while the score after the whoolwich massage and rolling massage increased on the third day, namely patient I with a score of 3 while patient II with a score of 6. The conclusion of this study is that whoolwich massage and rolling massage can affect the increase in breast milk production in postpartum mothers with cesarean section. Suggestion It is hoped that the hospital can provide nursing care services by including education on the management of whoolwich massage and rolling massage to support the smooth flow of breast milk.
