Abstract
According to the Indonesian Kidney Disease Index (SKI) (2023), the prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in Indonesia reached 0.18%, or 638,178 million people. West Java is the province with the highest number of cases of chronic kidney disease, at 21.1%, or 114,619 million people. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of dietary management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) on energy and protein intake in inpatients at Permata Hospital, Cirebon, on energy and protein intake. This study employed a descriptive observational study using a case study design. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a propositional sampling method, with a sample size of two individuals. The results of the study, conducted on two samples of chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients on hemodialysis at Permata Hospital, Cirebon, showed that energy and protein intake at the end of the intervention had increased, meeting the individual's daily needs, with results categorized as normal.
