Abstract
Stimulation of growth and development provides good benefits for stimulating the basic abilities of children aged 0-12 months so that they can grow optimally. The impact of not giving children stimulation from an early age results in developmental and growth disorders not only during infancy but also carrying over into adulthood. One of the factors is that the mother does not provide stimulation regarding the mother's lack of knowledge, thinking that it is not very important and assuming that the child will grow and develop by itself. The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility of designing a pocket book media about stimulating baby growth and development as an educational medium for mothers who have babies aged 0-12 months in the Bungursari Tasikmalaya Community Health Center area. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method to produce certain products and test the feasibility of these products. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively to determine the frequency and percentage distribution of each variable studied. The results of the material expert validation test with a score of 96.4% are included in the very feasible category, the media expert validation test with a score of 93% is included in the very feasible category, the results of small scale trials with a score of 96% are included in the very feasible category. It is hoped that the existence of a pocket book about stimulating the growth and development of babies aged 0-12 months can make it easier for mothers to stimulate babies according to their age and can support successful optimal growth and development.
