The Regional Disaster Management Agency of Tasikmalaya City plays a pivotal role in the prevention, mitigation, and documentation of these incidents. Currently, the manual process of recording disaster occurrences involves filling out assessment forms and subsequently inputting the data into Microsoft Excel. This manual data collection approach proves to be inefficient, highlighting the need for a Disaster Information System to facilitate the streamlined documentation of disaster incidents The aim of this research is to create a website-based Tasikmalaya City Disaster Information System (SIBEN-KAYA). Method: This research uses qualitative analysis, phenomenological design and prototype method system development. Data collection methods are interviews and observation. Results: Reporting, data collection and reporting of disaster events at BPBD Tasikmalaya City already uses information technology in the form of Microsoft Excel. Guidelines have been implemented in this procedure so that the process of reporting, data collection and disaster reporting at the Tasikmalaya City BPBD is more structured; Conclusion: Reporting, data collection and reporting of disaster events at BPBD Tasikmalaya City already uses information technology and there are guidelines. Website-based Disaster Information Systems are designed according to functional and non-functional needs.
