Abstract
Scabies is a skin disease caused by parasite Sartoptes Scabiei (a type of tick or mite). Scabies is included in the top 10 most frequent skin diseases in 2021 in Tasikmalaya Regency with 19,407 cases. This research aims to see an overview of the level of knowledge of PHBS and scabiesan self-education at the X Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya. This research is a kuantitatif descriptive study with data collection sourced from patient notebooks at the ‘POSKESTREN’ (Pos Kesehatan Pesantren) X Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya in 2022, with a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. The source of data used in this research is patient notebooks data at the ‘POSKESTREN’ (Pos Kesehatan Pesantren) X Islamic Boarding School with data in the form of patient gender, patient age, drug name, and dosage of the drug. Based on the results of the research on patient characteristics based on the highest age, namely in the age range of 12-16 years there were 43 respondents (50.59%), the most gender was male as much as 42 respondents (49.41%), the highest level of education was at the high school level 43 respondents (50.59%), 47 respondents (55.3%) have a good knowledge of PHBS, and 49 respondents (57.65%) have a good knowledge of scabies self-medication.
