Abstract
Stunting occurs in toddlers due to lack of food intake such as carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.Factor the most likely to occurstunting in toddlers namely lack of protein and animal fat intake. Therefore it is necessary to know the nutritional intake of seafood in toddlers stunting. The selection of the utilization of marine products, especially fish, is one of the marine products that is easy to find and has a low pricerelative inexpensive but has sufficient protein and fat content as well as micronutrients related to nutritional stunting. This type of research is descriptive with the entire population under five stunting in Pangandaran Village. The sample was taken the same as the population of 20 toddlersStunting. Data collection was carried out through interviews using a formSQ-FFQ. The results of research on toddlers Stunting in Pangandaran Village, Pangandaran District, Pangandaran Regency showed that the intake of macronutrients was more than 25% energy, normal 10%, mild deficit 5%, moderate deficit 0% and severe deficit 60%. Intake of macro-nutrient protein is more than 55%, normal 5%, mild deficit 10%, moderate deficit 5%, and severe deficit 25%. Intake of more macro-fat nutrients is 15%, normal is 0%, mild deficit is 5%, moderate deficit is 5% and severe deficit is 75%. Adequate intake of Fe micronutrients as much as 35% and less as much as 65%. Adequate intake of Zn micronutrients as much as 50% and less than 50%. Adequate intake of Ca micronutrients as much as 50% and less than 50%. Intake of marine fish species is less than 30%, normally 10% and more than 60%. Toddler problemstunting This can be caused, among other things, by a lack of consuming animal protein which can be met by consuming seafood.
