Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of a life skill-based academic service model to improve the orientation of student entrepreneurial behavior at Poltekkes West Java. The research method uses a mix method approach with a sequential strategy. The online explanatory survey approach is the main approach supported by case studies to explore findings in survey research. The study population was a simple randomly selected student who was limited to the last semester students at Poltekkes Se-West Java as many as 85 dental nursing students. Measurement of academic service is measured by Tangible, Empathy, Responsiveness, Reliability, Assurance. Entrepreneurial orientation is measured based on innovation, risk-taking and proactivity that is adjusted to the context of assignments and learning and field work practices. Data analysis using SEM PLS as the main data analysis. The results showed that the reliability and reliability of the academic service system and the assurance to students were important indicators of the academic service system. Innovative behavior that is applied in learning, practical field work, and the implementation of routine tasks are important indicators of entrepreneurial orientation. An academic service system that is oriented towards the formation of life skills encourages increased entrepreneurial orientation as indicated by innovation, risk-taking and proactive towards dynamic changes in learning at Poltekkes. It is necessary to do research with a wider population scope and explore the relationship of each dimension between variables.
