Abstract
Latar Belakang: Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) diterapkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kerja di rumah sakit, namun masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan sarana prasarana, sistem yang belum terintegrasi, dan perbedaan kemampuan pengguna. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa RME berpotensi memengaruhi efektivitas kerja, tetapi hasilnya belum konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara penerapan RME dengan efektivitas kerja pengguna RME di RSUD Arjawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain analitik korelasional dan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah petugas rumah sakit pengguna RME yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen berupa kuesioner skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil Penelitian: Sebagian besar responden menilai penerapan RME dalam kategori baik (71,6%), sedangkan 28,4% menilai kurang baik. Efektivitas kerja petugas mayoritas berada pada kategori baik (77,3%) dan 22,7% kurang baik. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan nilai p = 0,007 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan antara penerapan RME dengan efektivitas kerja petugas. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penerapan RME dengan efektivitas kerja petugas. Penerapan RME yang baik mendukung peningkatan efektivitas, keakuratan, dan pengelolaan data pasien secara lebih terstruktur. Background: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are implemented to improve work effectiveness in hospitals; however, several challenges remain, such as limited infrastructure, non-integrated systems, and differences in user capability. Previous studies indicate that EMR has the potential to influence work effectiveness, but the results are still inconsistent. This study aims to analyze the relationship between EMR implementation and the work effectiveness of EMR users at RSUD Arjawinangun, Cirebon Regency. Research Method: This study used a quantitative method with a correlational analytic design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of hospital staff using EMR, selected through Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test. Results: Most respondents assessed EMR implementation as good (71.6%), while 28.4% assessed it as poor. The majority of staff work effectiveness was categorized as good (77.3%), while 22.7% was categorized as poor. The Chi-Square test showed a p-value of 0.007 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between EMR implementation and staff work effectiveness. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between EMR implementation and staff work effectiveness. Proper EMR implementation supports improved work effectiveness, accuracy, and more structured patient data management.
