Abstract
ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Apendiktomi adalah tindakan pembedahan untuk mengangkat apendiks yang mengalami peradangan dan menjadi salah satu prosedur operasi dengan angka kejadian cukup tinggi di dunia maupun di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data World Health Organization (WHO), jumlah pasien yang menjalani tindakan apendiktomi meningkat dari 80 juta pada tahun 2020 menjadi 98 juta pada tahun 2021. Pasien post operasi apendiktomi berisiko mengalami gangguan mobilitas fisik akibat nyeri, kelemahan otot, serta keterbatasan gerak yang dapat menghambat proses pemulihan. Salah satu intervensi non farmakologis yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan mobilitas fisik pasien yaitu mobilisasi dini progresif. Tujuan: studi kasus ini adalah melaksanakan implementasi mobilisasi dini progresif pada pasien post operasi apendiktomi masalah keperawatan gangguan mobilitas fisik. Metode: Desain Karya Tulis Ilmiah ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap dua pasien post operasi apendiktomi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, dan studi dokumentasi. Implementasi mobilisasi dini progresif dilakukan selama 5 hari berturut-turut selama 20 menit sesuai toleransi pasien dimulai dari level I sampai level V. Hasil: Setelah dilakukan mobilisasi dini progresif menunjukkan bahwa kedua pasien mengalami peningkatan mobilitas fisik yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kekuatan otot ekstremitas bawah dari skala 2 menjadi skala 4. Pada Tn. SP kemampuan mobilisasi meningkat dari level I menjadi level V, sedangkan pada Tn. SH meningkat dari level I menjadi level III. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mobilisasi dini progresif dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan mobilitas fisik pada pasien post operasi apendiktomi. Saran: Pasien post operasi apendiktomi diharapkan mampu melakukan mobilisasi dini progresif secara benar, mandiri, dan berkelanjutan untuk menghasilkan hasil yang maksimal sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mobilitas fisik. ABSTRACT Background: Appendectomy is a surgical procedure to remove the appendix that is inflamed and is one of the surgical procedures with a high incidence worldwide as well as in Indonesia. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of patients undergoing appendectomy increased from 80 million in 2020 to 98 million in 2021. Post-appendectomy patients are at risk of experiencing physical mobility disorders due to pain, muscle weakness, and movement limitations that can hinder the recovery process. One non- pharmacological intervention that can be carried out to improve patients' physical mobility is progressive early mobilization. Objective: The aim of this case study is to implement progressive early mobilization in post-appendectomy patients with the nursing problem of impaired physical mobility. Method: The design of this scientific paper is qualitative with a case study approach on two post-appendectomy surgery patients. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, physical examinations, and documentation studies. The implementation of progressive early mobilization was carried out for 5 consecutive days for 20 minutes according to patient tolerance, starting from level I to level V. Results: After progressive early mobilization was carried out, it showed that both patients experienced an increase in physical mobility, indicated by an increase in lower extremity muscle strength from scale 2 to scale 4. In Mr. SP, mobilization ability increased from level I to level V, while in Mr. SH it increased from level I to level III. Conclusion: This study shows that progressive early mobilization can help improve physical mobility in post- appendectomy surgery patients. Suggestion: Post-appendectomy surgery patients are expected to be able to perform progressive early mobilization correctly, independently, and continuously to achieve optimal results so that it can improve physical mobility
