Abstract

PENGARUH EDUKASI KEPERAWATAN DENGAN MEDIA LEAFLET TERHADAP KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT PADA PASIEN TB DI PUSKESMAS PAGERAGEUNG ABSTRAK Seli Septiani Program Studi sarjana Terapan Keperawatan dan Profesi Ners Poltekkes Kemenkes Tasikmalaya Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan penyakit menular yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Rendahnya pengetahuan pasien mengenai penyakit TB dan pengobatannya dapat menyebabkan ketidakpatuhan minum obat, sehingga meningkatkan risiko kegagalan pengobatan, kekambuhan, dan resistensi obat. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kepatuhan pasien adalah melalui edukasi keperawatan menggunakan media leaflet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi keperawatan dengan media leaflet terhadap kepatuhan minum obat pasien TB di Puskesmas Pagerageung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Experimental Design dan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 53 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan dan kepatuhan minum obat. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan tingkat kemaknaan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden berusia 26–35 tahun (39,6%), berjenis kelamin perempuanp (58,5%), berpendidikan terakhir SMP (34,0%), dan telah menjalani pengobatan TB selama 3–6 bulan (60,4%). Sebelum intervensi, sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan buruk (71,7%), sedangkan setelah edukasi sebagian besar memiliki pengetahuan baik (90,6%). Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa 51 responden (96,2%) mengalami peningkatan kepatuhan minum obat dan 2 responden (3,8%) tidak mengalami perubahan. Nilai p-value = 0,000 (p<0,05) menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh edukasi keperawatan dengan media leaflet terhadap kepatuhan minum obat pasien TB. THE EFFECT OF NURSING EDUCATION USING LEAFLET MEDIA ON MEDICATION ADHERENCE AMONG TUBERCULOSIS (TB) PATIENTS AT PAGERAGEUNG PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER ABSTRACT Seli Septiani Applied Bachelor of Nursing and Professional Nursing Program, Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health Tasikmalaya Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health problem in Indonesia. Poor patient knowledge regarding TB and its treatment may lead to medication non-adherence, thereby increasing the risk of treatment failure, relapse, and drug resistance. One strategy to improve patients' knowledge and adherence is nursing education using leaflet media. This study aimed to determine the effect of nursing education using leaflet media on medication adherence among TB patients at Pagerageung Public Health Center.This study employed a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sampling technique used was total sampling, involving 53 respondents. Data were collected using knowledge and medication adherence questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance level of α = 0.05.The results showed that most respondents were aged 26–35 years (39.6%), female (58.5%), had a junior high school education (34.0%), and had undergone TB treatment for 3–6 months (60.4%). Before the intervention, most respondents had poor knowledge (71.7%), whereas after receiving nursing education, most had good knowledge (90.6%). The Wilcoxon test indicated that 51 respondents (96.2%) experienced an improvement in medication adherence, while 2 respondents (3.8%) showed no change. The p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05) indicated that nursing education using leaflet media had a significant effect on medication adherence among TB patients.
