Abstract
PROGRAM STUDI D III KEPERAWATAN PROGRAM STUDI KEPERAWATAN CIREBON POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN KEMENKES TASIKMALAYA Karya Tulis Ilmiah, Mei 2025 Implementasi Keperawatan Rendam Kaki Air Hangat Campuran Serai dan Garam pada Pasien Ny.D dan Tn.S dengan Masalah Keperawatan Nyeri Akut Pasien Hipertensi di Ruang Cut Nyak Dien dan Diponegoro RSUD Arjawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon Eka Safitri1, Edi Ruhmadi2, Tiffany Gita Sesaria3 ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan yang signifikan di Indonesia, dengan prevalensi mencapai 30,8% pada tahun 2023. Angka kejadian di Kota Cirebon, terdapat 90.868 individu yang menderita hipertensi, sementara di Kabupaten Cirebon jumlahnya mencapai 88.047 orang. Kondisi ini sering kali tidak menunjukkan gejala, sehingga dijuluki sebagai “Silent Killer” yang dapat menyebabkan komplikasi serius. Tujuan: mampu mengimplementasikan terapi rendam kaki air hangat campuran serai dan garam untuk mengatasi masalah nyeri akut pada pasien hipertensi. Metode: Desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subyek terdiri dari dua pasien hipertensi yang mengalami nyeri akut. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi serta pengukuran skala nyeri sebelum dan sesudah implementasi menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Hasil: Pasien 1 dihari pertama sebelum dilakukan tindakan skala nyeri 7 (nyeri berat) setelah dilakukan tindakan selama 5 hari menjadi skala nyeri 1 (0-10) atau nyeri ringan. Sedangkan pasien 2 dihari pertama sebelum dilakukan tindakan skala nyeri 6 (nyeri sedang) setelah dilakukan tindakan selama 5 hari skala nyeri menurun menjadi 2 (0-10) atau nyeri ringan. Kesimpulan: Terapi rendam kaki air hangat campuran serai dan garam terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan skala nyeri pada pasien hipertensi yang mengalami nyeri akut. Saran: Tindakan ini dapat dipraktikkan secara rutin di kehidupan sehari-hari, sebagai upaya non-farmakologis untuk mengurangi nyeri. In Cirebon City, there are 90,868 individuals suffering from hypertension, while in Cirebon Regency the number reaches 88,047 people. This condition is often asymptomatic, so it is dubbed the “Silent Killer” which can lead to serious complications. Objective: To be able to implement warm water foot soak therapy mixed with lemongrass and salt to overcome the problem of acute pain in hypertensive patients. Methods: Qualitative design with a case study approach. The subjects consisted of two hypertensive patients who experienced acute pain. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation studies and measurement of pain scales before and after implementation using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Results: Client 1 on the first day before the procedure the pain scale was 7 (severe pain) after the procedure for 5 days it became a pain scale of 1 (0-10) or mild pain. While client 2 on the first day before the procedure the pain scale was 6 (moderate pain) after the procedure for 5 days the pain scale decreased to 2 (0-10) or mild pain. Conclusion: Warm water foot soak therapy with a mixture of lemongrass and salt has been proven effective in reducing the pain scale in hypertensive patients experiencing acute pain. Recommendation: This action can be practiced routinely in everyday life, as a non-pharmacological effort to reduce pain.
