Abstract
Pulmonary tuberculosis is the third cause of infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. The higher the rate of Tuberculosis transmission can increase morbidity and mortality in society. The aim of administering anti-Tuberculosis drugs is to prevent progression of resistance in Tuberculosis patients. Based on medical record data from RSUD dr. The aim of this study was to determine the profile of medication adherence in patients with resistance to pulmonary antituberculosis drugs at the Outpatient Pharmacy Installation at RSUD dr. The sample was determined using total sampling in the period January-December 2023. Compliance measurement was carried out using the MMAS-8 (Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) questionnaire which contains 8 questions. The analysis used in this research is quantitative analysis. The results of this study showed that 53.40% of pulmonary antituberculosis drug resistance patients were male, with 48.3% in the 26-45 year age category. Occupation as housewife 32.8%, last education is junior high school 25.90%. Classification based on previous treatment in patients who returned after stopping treatment was 32.80%. The drug therapy given was Bedaquiline, Clofazimine, Ethambutol, Levofloxacin, Vitamin B6, Pyrazinamide, namely 12.10%. Of the 58 respondents in this study, 55.20% showed a high level of compliance, 32.20% moderate level of compliance, and 8.60% low compliance in the use of pulmonary antituberculosis drug resistance. The suggestion in this research is that there needs to be further improvement regarding education by pharmaceutical staff to patients regarding medication adherence.
