Abstract
Dengue fever is one of the fastest growing viral infectious diseases transmitted by mosquitoes in the world today. Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by high blood sugar levels which over time can cause damage to other organs. This research was conducted to implement a nutritional care process for inpatients with dengue fever, type 2 diabetes and bronchitis using a standardized nutritional care process approach. This type of research is descriptive research using a case study research design. The research subjects were patients with dengue fever, type 2 diabetes and bronchitis who were treated at the Guntur Garut TNI AD Level IV Hospital. The research method used is a standardized nutritional care process. The tools used in this research were the Malnutrition Screening Tool (MST) nutritional screening form, 24-hour food recall form, SQ-FFQ form, and food weighing form. From the research results, nutritional problems experienced by patients include inadequate oral intake, increased energy and protein requirements, wrong habits regarding food and nutrients, and decreased quality of life. The nutrition that should be provided is a high protein diet of 1400 kcal for 3 days. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the patient's nutritional status is still in the overweight category, the patient's physical condition has improved, laboratory results have increased, and the patient's food intake for 3 days has not exceeded 80%. . all over. During implementation, patients experience decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, body aches and headaches so as to meet their energy needs..
