Abstract
Stunting is a condition of growth failure in minors due to chronic malnutrition. The causes of stunting are inadequate macronutrient intake, the responsive feeding attitude of the mother and the appropriateness of eating not the based on the content of my plate. The prevalence of stunting in toddler's according to Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018 was 29,9%. This study aims to determine the macronutrient intake, responsive feeding, and meal suitability of stunted toddlers in the work area of the Mangkubumi Health Center, Tasikmalaya City, based on the contents of their plates. This type of research is descriptive, using a total of 31 stunted toddlers as samples. The sampling technique used was non-random sampling. The data obtained included height, weight, macronutrient intake, responsive feeding, and meal suitability based on the contents of my plate. Data were collected by anthropometric measurements and interviews using the SQ-FFQ, Responsive Feeding Practice Assessment Tool (RFPAT) and contents of my plate instruments. Data analysis in this study was descriptive analysis using nutrisurvey and excel data processing software. The study includes 30 short toddlers and one extremely short toddler. As many as 32% of the toddler's protein intake was deficient than recommended. Fat intake of 58% of toddlers was at a severe level of deficit. The carbohydrate intake of 87% of toddlers was at a mild deficit level. Mothers' attitudes toward responsive feeding averaged 39%. The results of meal suitability, based on what's on my plate, indicate that 100% of toddlers do not follow the contents of their plates.
