Abstract
Background: Dental caries can cause infection causing pain in the teeth, eating disorders, affecting the growth and development of children and reducing school time due to dental problems. Dental caries is a chronic disease that is common and quite high in elementary school-age children, namely 6-8 years. Purpose: this research is to design and manufacture Dental Activity Worksheet media and then test the feasibility of using the media. The media called "Dental Activity Worksheet" is media that contains matching pictures, coloring, and bolding lines, which the researchers made with the hope of helping students improve oral health. Methods: this study used the research and development (RnD) method. Result: assessment of the material expert, the "Dental Activity Worksheet" media is included in the very feasible criteria with a feasibility level of 92% with a slight improvement by adding material related to dental and oral health. The results of the media expert's assessment of the "Dental Activity Worksheet" are included in the very feasible criteria, with a feasibility level of 88% with revisions to the color part that lacks contrast and the text size is too small. Conclusion: Based on the results of the validation and also trials on students in grades 1, 2, 3 of SDN 1 Sadananya, Sadananya District, Ciamis Regency, this "Dental Activity Worksheet" media is very suitable for use by students to provide media in improving dental and oral health in children 6-8 years old.
