Abstract

The community health center is a district health service technical implementation unit that is responsible for implementing health development in a work area, one of which is the existence of pharmaceutical services by identifying and resolving drug problems in medical emergencies that support patient recovery in emergencies. In the use of medicines for medical emergencies, puskesmas need to carry out multidisciplinary and coordinated management in accordance with established pharmaceutical standards to ensure the achievement of the accuracy of the number and type of medical supplies in the emergency service process. The purpose of the research to be conducted is to find out the description of the management of medical emergency drugs carried out at the Manonjaya Health Center. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a population of officers who manage and administer medical emergencies at the Manonjaya Health Center and the sample is an informant consisting of the head of the puskesmas, nurses and pharmacists with the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research was carried out by observation and direct interviews with informants using a checklist measurement tool, interview guide sheets and a recording device in the form of a mobile phone. The results of the study are presented in the form of tables and descriptive descriptions compared to Permenkes No. 74 of 2016. The results showed that the description of drug management in medical emergencies at the Manonjaya Health Center starting from planning to evaluation and monitoring as a whole had a conformity percentage of 58.53% with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 74 of 2016.
