Abstract

Background: The virus is the cause of the Covid-19 disease, transmission process can occur mainly through droplets, direct contact, transmission from asymptomatic people and transmission from family members. Health workers, as the front line in handling COVID-19, put them at risk for viral infections, as well as in dental and mouth separation services, which in their work are always in contact with saliva, droplets and aerosols. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between covid 19 and dental and oral health services at health facilities in the city of Tasikmalaya. Research Methods: the research method was carried out using an analytical observational method with a crosssectional research design, the research sample consisted of 80 people, 20 dentists and 60 dental nurses. The results showed that knowledge about covid 19 in dental health services at health facilities in the city of Tasikmalaya was categorized moderate with the number of 54 people (70%). The conclusion shows that there is a relationship between covid 19 and dental and oral health services at health facilities in the city of Tasikmalaya.
