Abstract

DAGUSIBU is an effort to increase public awareness in their healthy behavior, especially related to medicine. Gastric acid suppresing drugs include Antacid, PPI, Sukralfat, etc. The public's importance of knowing DAGUSIBU gastric acid suppressing drugs so that people can handle treated properly. The purpose of this study was to find out the Level of Community Knowledge About DAGUSIBU Gastric Acid Suppresing Drugs. The type of research used was descriptive quantitative by using questionnaire instruments and using purposive sampling. Analysis data used is univariate analysis by using computerization. Results showed that public knowledge of Dagusibu gastric acid drugs gained good category rate of 40.82%, considerable 57.14%, lack of 2.04%. The highest category of knowledge level getting gastric acid drugs was the good category of 73.47%. The highest category of knowledge level using gastric acid drugs was a good category 86.73%. The highest category of knowledge rate storing gastric acid drugs was a good category 54.08%. Highest category level knowledge of obtaining medicine gastric acid is a category less than 55.10%. Meanwhile the level of knowledge based on age obtained the highest good category was the early elderly group, by gender was female, by occupation was housewife, by education constitutes elementary school.
