Abstract

The capitation fund is the amount of monthly payments paid in advance to the Puskesmas based on the number of registered participants without taking into account the type and number of health services provided. The capitation funds received by the Puskesmas must be able to meet all the needs of the Puskesmas, including in the drug management process. This study aims to determine the management and utilization of BPJS capitation funds in drug management at the Kahuripan Health Center, Tasikmalaya City. This research uses a qualitative method using case studies. The method of collecting data was through open and free-guided in-depth documentation and interviews, equipped with interview guides and voice recorders. Analysis of the data used in this study uses 3 stages, namely transcription, coding, and categorization. The results showed that the capitation fund management process carried out by the Kahuripan Health Center was by the applicable Tasikmalaya Mayor Regulation. The allocation of BPJS capitation funds in the drug management process at the Puskesmas Kahuripan in 2021 is 1.73%. The funds are used for medicines needed by the Puskesmas but are not available at the Health Office and are cito. The procurement is carried out under the supervision of the Dinas Kesehatan Tasikmalaya.
