Abstract
ABSTRACT Dyspepsia syndrome is a disease that has signs and symptoms such as pain in the pit of the stomach (upper abdomen). Globally, people with dyspepsia reach 20% of the world's population. The prevalence in Asia ranges from 8-30%. Dyspepsia is caused by irregular eating patterns (frequency of eating, type of food and portions of food) and can be caused by coffee, alcohol smoking, pain relievers and several other chemicals that can cause an increase in stomach acid in people with dyspepsia syndrome. The purpose of this study was to describe the risk factors for disorders of the gastrointestinal system: syndrome, dyspepsia at Ciamis Hospital. The research design used is a qualitative type of design using a case study approach using an interview format instrument with 2 respondents. The results obtained after conducting a study for 3 days the risk factors for the respondent's dyspepsia syndrome were caused by risk factors for diet and coffee.
